That’s where Level 2 steps in. This is for the people in your business who want to be the active first line of defence.

We don't do toxic positivity or textbook theories. Led by our team of practicing therapists, this course dives into the messy realities of mental health, covering everything from anxiety and depression to substance misuse and self-harm. Your team will learn the art of non-judgmental listening, how to spot subtle warning signs before a crisis hits, and exactly how to map out a safe route to professional help.

The Vitals at a Glance

Who it’s for: 

Line managers, HR teams, and designated culture champions. Basically, anyone who wants to be a trusted, qualified point of contact for peer support in your workplace.

Time Commitment: 

One full day (8 hours) of deep-dive, interactive learning that focuses heavily on practical scenarios, not just staring at slides.

The Delivery: 

Live Online or Face-to-Face. Run exclusively by qualified therapists who bring real-world clinical experience into the room.

The Qualification: 

Official Ofqual Level 2 Accreditation. Complete the short assessment at the end to unlock an internationally recognised qualification, backed up by your custom-branded Red Umbrella resource toolkit.

Some individuals turn to harmful coping mechanisms like drugs or alcohol when dealing with mental health issues. Learners will explore how these negative strategies can further deteriorate a person’s mental health and learn ways to help guide individuals towards healthier coping techniques.
