5 Steps to Effective Care

At Red Umbrella we follow the following steps to ensure you get effective care and rehabilitation. More information on our specific treatment options can be found below.

Identification

Through our training we empower employees by providing them with the tools to articulate their feelings, recognise their triggers, spot behavioral changes in others and address the stigma around mental health issues.

Assessment

An assessment is needed to ensure the correct diagnosis. This needs to be done swiftly after the identification so issues do not escalate or manifest themselves, compounding the initial symptoms.

Diagnosis

Mis-diagnosis is very costly to all. We ensure the correct diagnosis so the appropriate care plan can be put into place.

Treatment

Immediate counselling sessions with one of our in-house therapists eliminate wait times and ensures contact with the correct specialist. We also ensure anonymity and minimal absenteeism. In 99% of cases we have dealt with, no absenteeism is required. Should residential treatment be required, the costs are at the discretion of the employee or employer, dependent on a review.

Aftercare

People often go back to work too quickly without the correct support. We hold the employee’s hand when reintegrating, suggesting appropriate work hours to HR and offering continued support when needed.
