Supporting members across the UK

The PGA is one of the most recognised names in sports. With a history and tradition that dates back generations, it was important to them that they approached the future in the right way, with the right supports for the challenges it’s members were facing. Mental health is a big part of that, and while golf can be a great way to protect your mental health, it’s members are not immune from other risk factors. That why they approached Red Umbrella to see how we could support them in their mission.

Red Umbrella have provided a range of mental health solutions over the last few years to the PGA and it’s members. From mental health training courses for it’s staff, to therapy support for its members through Carecoins. The confidential nature of the support means that their members are more likely to use the service, and the ability for members to purchase their own Carecoins for ongoing support means that The PGA can find the right levels of support for each member, and that ongoing support option is there for each person.  Red Umbrella have also provided columns for it’s members magazines around mental health.

Over the years we’ve been supporting The PGA’s members, we’ve delivered over 500 hours of therapy to it’s members, and provided advice and guidance to many people. The ability to set limits as to how many Carecoins they provide to each member and Red Umbrella’s flexibility to adapt it’s service to The PGA’s needs, has meant that The PGA can deliver a service across it’s full membership.
