Long term training and therapy support

The CWC have been on a mission to support some of the greatest unsung heroes of society – those caring for our most vulnerable. It’s values of compassionate care and support are mirrored by Red Umbrella, so it’s no surprise that the partnership has been such a successful one (plus we both have umbrellas as our logos).

As well as providing expert mental health first aid training, delivered by qualified therapists, CWC have also been using Carecoins since 2022 to provide free of charge therapy to care workers across the UK. Our process of hand matching the right therapist to each referral has meant that the feedback from the therapy service has been overwhelmingly positive, with 94% of people saying they would recommend the service.

To date Red Umbrella has delivered over 2,000 hour of therapy support and hundreds of carers trained as mental health first aiders. This has helped CWC deliver key mental health support to those who are most at need, helping to tackle the mental health challenges that exist within the care sector.
